Taking care of your Sportscraft garments properly not only helps maintain their appearance but also ensures their longevity. With the right care, fabrics like viscose and polyester can last longer, retain their shape, and continue to look their best.
A selection of pieces from our core ranges have been made using blends of viscose and polyester for their durability, recyclability and their unique properties.
So, we’ve put together a quick but comprehensive guide to fabric care so that your Sportscraft garments can look and feel their very best.

How to care for Polyester
Washing: Wash polyester at a maximum of 60°C. Higher temperatures can cause heat-induced wrinkles and damage the fibres.
Static: Polyester tends to generate static electricity, causing clothes to cling to the skin. Use fabric softener to smooth out this issue.
Drying: Polyester dries quickly. After washing, gently press the garment in a towel to absorb excess moisture, then air dry. Avoid wringing the fabric - as this will damage it.
Ironing: Polyester is crease-resistant. If wrinkles remain, iron on the lowest setting. Place a cloth between the fabric and the iron to prevent burns.
How to Care for Viscose
Washing: Always wash viscose garments inside out on a 30°C delicate cycle. Avoid soaking to prevent distortion.
Drying: Hang viscose garments to dry, as tumble drying or direct sunlight can cause shrinking or misshaping.
Ironing: Iron viscose garments inside out on the lowest heat setting to protect its shiny finish. Use steam to ease out wrinkles.

By treating your viscose and polyester garments with care, you help preserve their quality and extend their lifespan, ensuring they continue to serve you well, season after season.
